We have a range of services to meet local need and empower individuals and families towards a greater future, detailed information of these services can be found below

Crisis Care

Our King’s Community Care representative will aid you

  • organising food, clothing, basic needs and support.
  • referral to other community agencies may be given
  • recommending King’s Community Care courses that may interest you

When registering, showing a Centrelink Income Statement would be appreciated.

Work Experience Program

  • Our Work Experience program is a Work For the Dole initiative, run in conjunction with a local employment agency.
  • The goal is to train & develop skills so those referred may re-enter the workforce.
  • Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, building maintenance, I.T, administration & gardening skills are developed.

Community Courses

We offer a range of short courses to educate and help people develop life skills that allow them to move forward in life. The following are currently on offer:

  • Salt Seniors Meet-up¬† gives a relaxing opportunity to share time with others at 9:30am to learn more about the g0spel with prayer and scripture.
  • Toastmasters¬†offers leadership and public speaking training. This group will be meeting in February 2019
